Navigation:  Media Playing > Watching TV

You can watch Live TV on the media screen in the Now Playing activity, if you have a TV tuner in your computer, and the TV Tuner is connected via cable to the output of a digital satellite decoder, cable decoder, or TV Aerial or analogue transmission.

 

Click on the TV button in the Now Playing activity to watch TV (1).  When you select the TV button, there are additional functions displayed to watch TV (2).

 

 

If this is the first time you have used orchidmedia with your TV Tuner in the computer, you will need to select the TV Setup button to tune into the stations available. (See the following Topic on TV Setup).

 

If you have more than one channel tuned for TV, you can use the previous and next channel buttons, or the drop down list of channels from the Now Playing Toolbar.  You can also watch TV using the whole screen using the maximize size button on the Toolbar.

 

To stop watching TV Select the Stop (3) button on the Media Player.  You can control the volume using the Media Player volume control (4) or mute (5) button.
