Task View Window

From the To Do List Panel, you can select to create and edit tasks using the Task View Window by clicking on the Open Task View button.  The Task View Window displays as shown below:-

In Area (1), the Task View Window displays the Task Folders Tree View. You can create new Task folders by using the pop-up menu in the Tree View, or by using the Media Folders Window (see Common Features | Media Folders Window).   Use the Task Folders to group tasks together into a list or sub-lists.

 

The Task View Window displays the Tasks for the selected Task Folder in Area (2). Columns are provided to display the task Folder, Task description, Status, Priority, Start and Due Date.  You can switch column order by dragging the column to a new position.  You select the sort order by clicking on the Column header.

 

Above Areas (1) and (2) are the editing buttons to manage the tasks. The Open Task button (3), the New Task button (4), the Cut and Copy Task button (5), the Paste Task button (6) and the Delete Task button (7).

 

You can close the Task View Window by clicking on the Exit Window (8).

 

As with all views in the Organizer Activity, you can print and print preview from the Menu actions under Actions on the Menu bar.
