The following section describes how to create and manage Addresses and locations in orchidmedia using the Places Activity. The Places activity is useful for storing addresses which are not linked to an individual, such as your favorite restaurants, bars, and museums.
When you create a Place in orcidmedia, the place can be linked to more than one contact. If you change or edit the address details for the place, the address details for the linked contacts will also change.
You can select the Places Activity in the orchidmedia Desktop Companion by selecting the Places Activity Icon (1) from the Activity List in the Navigation Panel.

When you select the Places Activity Icon (1), the software displays the Place sub-folders for the current user in the Folder Tree view in the Navigation Panel (2). You can show places by folder by selecting one of the sub-folders from the Tree view.
