If this is is the first time, you have started orchidmedia, then the software automatically displays the New User Registration window. The software can provide access to information to more than one person, so you need to supply your name and details in the New User Registration window, to distinguish you from anyone else, and to secure your information stored in orchidmedia.
Note: this is not a registration process for the product, and ICT do not record personal details from orchidmedia.
You can have as many Users in orchidmedia as you want. Each User will have their own private storage area which nobody else can see. In this way, each User can have their own email and instant messaging accounts, and they can create their own private multimedia libraries on the one computer. If you are using orchidmedia at home, you can create a user for each member of the family, and each person will have their own secured space to use. If you are using orchidmedia at work, then you can use the software to secure and organize confidential information, in ways which work for you.
You secure your user's information by password, or create users with no password for public or open access to information.
The first page of the New User Registration Window looks like this.

Next Page buttons - click on the Next page button (2) to move to the next page of the window, or use the Previous Page button (1) to move back a page. There are three pages to complete:-
3. Help button - click on the Help button to display this page
4. Exit button - if you click on the Exit button, then the software will cancel any changes or additions made, and if this is the first time, you have started orchidmedia, the software will exit to Windows.
5. Cancel button - if you click on the Cancel button, this will cancel any changes or additions made, and just as in (4) above, if this is the first time, you have started orchidmedia, the software will exit to Windows.
6. Save button - when you have completed enough of the information required to register a new User profile, the Save button is enabled, and you can click it to save your details, and continue in orchidmedia.
