With many email messages containing HTML or web content, they can contain links to web pages on the internet. When you click on a web link in an email message in orchidmedia, the Mail Editor window opens a new tab window and browses to the web page (1). You can return to the mail item by selecting the Mail item tab (3), or using tab navigation buttons (2).
Below is an example where we have clicked on a link in an email message to display the orchidmedia web site:-

Opening New Browsing Tab
Once the web page is displayed, you have all the functionality of our integrated web browser in the Mail Editor window. Look for information (4) at the bottom of the window, to show you where a web link will take you, and the type of web page displayed. There are zoom controls (5) to enlarge or decrease the size of the page, and an icon (7) displays the security zone for each web page.
There are control buttons on the Mail Editor Toolbar to navigate and control the web browser as follows:-

Web Browser controls
7. Print Controls - use the Print Preview, Print Setup, and Print buttons to print email messages or a displayed web page.
8. Back and Previous Page - use the back and forward page buttons to move back and forward through previously displayed web pages.
9. Refresh Page - use the Refresh Page button to refresh the contents of the web page.
10. Stop/Close Page - use the Stop Page to close the current tab window.
11. Block Popups - if the Block Popups button is depressed then the browser will not allow popup windows to be displayed. This is a security feature to protect you from popup windows which can display the entire size of the screen and from web sites which produce multiple pop-ups on exit, which make it difficult for you to control the computer.
12. Text size - increase or decrease the size of text in the web browser using the Text Size buttons.
13. Work offline/online - click on the Work offline/online lock button to turn the web browser off or on. When the web browser is offline, the browser will not download content to the computer. This is useful when viewing suspicious looking email messages or when you need to close your connection to the internet immediately.
