You can download various files and images from the internet using the Web browser. If you see an image you want to store in orchidmedia from a Web page, you can move the mouse over the image displayed, and press the right hand button on the mouse to reveal the Browser Popup Menu (see below).
If you select the Save Image As... or the Save Image <filename> (1) menu action from the popup menu, the software will download the Image file to the Downloads Folder in orchdmedia. The Save Image As... displays the Download Properties window, before downloading, so that you can rename the file name for the image, or select a different folder for storage. (see Editing Download Properties for further reading).

Browser Popup Menu
Alternatively, you can move the mouse over a link to a file on a web page, and press the right hand button on the mouse to reveal the Save Link As...(2), Save Link <filename>, and Save Link as Bookmark (3) menu actions from the Popup menu.

Save Link actions
If you select the Popup menu while positioning the mouse over a web link to a file, and the Save Link As... and Save Link <filename> actions do not appear, then it is likely that the web link does not resolve to a file, but another web page. Click over the link using the left hand button on the mouse, to navigate to the linked page, where you will probably find instructions on how to obtain the file from the web site.
The Save Link As... (2) menu action displays the Download Properties window to rename the file or select an alternative folder for storage. (see Editing Download Properties for further reading on the topic).
The Save Link as Bookmark action creates a bookmark in a Bookmarks folder in orchidmedia (see Creating Bookmarks for further reading on this topic).
When you have selected the Save link <filename> action, or saved the download properties from the Save Link As... action, the Download Manager window displays as shown below:-
