Web Search Properies
1. Name - type a name which identifies the Site, such as the company name or site title.
2. Icon - Select the icon to represent the site from the Image Selector window using the Icon button.
3. Internet Location - type the full path to the Search query in the Web site, using the http protocol in most cases. Within the search query, there will be a position where it expects the search value. Place the characters "%s" in this position, and these characters will be replaced by what you type in the Web Search Toolbar when using the Search query. In the above example, our search query for google is "http://www.google.com/search/?q=", where the expected value for the search follows the equals character "=", so we add the "%s" to the end to make "http://www.google.com/search/?q=%s". To make a UK Search query for google we would use "http://www.google.co.uk/search/?q=%s".
You will need to experiment with different address locations for queries, as each company may use different ways of creating the Search Query statement.
4. Description - type a short description of the search query.
5. Web Folder - select where to store the Web Search query from the drop down list of internet folders in orchidmedia. Note: you must select a Web Search folder for the Query to be listed in the Web Search Toolbar of the Web Browser.
6. New Folder - Use the new folder button to create a new folder in orchidmedia for the query, using the Media Folders window.
7. Cancel - click on the Cancel button to ignore the changes made in the window and return to the Web Search view.
8. Save - click on the Save button to save the changes and return to the Web Search view.
