Contacts > Contacts View

Selecting the Contacts Activity, displays the Contacts View in the activity Panel, along with the Contacts Toolbar (1), and Contacts Menu actions in the Menu bar.

Contacts View

The Contacts View displays the contacts for the current Contacts Folder (2), selected in the User Folders Tree View in the Navigation Panel. The range of contacts displayed within the activity panel size are shown by the abbreviated contact names (3).

You can display contacts starting with a letter by clicking on one of the letter buttons (4) shown to the right of the view.

If the display Letter Headings option is turned on for the Design view, the First Letter of the contact name is shown as in (5).

Each Contact is identified by their Last name, First name or Nickname in the contact view (see 6), and you change the sorted order by using the View | Sort by... Menu action on the Menu bar.

Contacts details are displayed in columns. You can change the width of the columns by dragging the column splitter (7) to a new position.
