The orchidmedia Desktop Companion uses a standard alert window displayed at the bottom right of the screen to tell you about the different things that can happen. For example, an alert window displays whenever you receive email, or a contact wishes to talk to you using instant messaging.
Alert Window
1. Message Type - displays an image and Title to denote the type of message.
2. Information - displays a brief description of the message contents.
3. Information button - select the Information button to display the Message Archive Window, which provides a log of orchidmedia messages with more information on the success or failure of the process.

4. Exit button - select the exit button to close the Alert window. Some messages will close automatically after 7 seconds, and more than one Alert Window can display at a time. Subsequent windows stack from the bottom right of the screen upwards.
